191 North Wacker, also known as the Chicago Lantern Building, is a luxury office building in the Chicago Loop, adjacent to the Chicago River. The primary wall type facade is comprised of aluminum unitized curtain wall. There is a “lantern” area comprised of clear glass at the top of the building.

Scope of Services

CDC provided a full range of consulting services, including construction document and construction administration reviews for Kendall/Heaton. CDC reviewed shop drawings and submittals, witnessed the erection and testing of a laboratory mock-up, and performed site observation services. After construction was completed, CDC performed site observations for Hines to develop a critical examination report required by the City of Chicago.
