Project Description

This six-story, 266,742 square-foot building contains six courtrooms. It also houses the offices for the courts, Oregon's two U.S. Senators, the U.S. Representative in the district, the United States Marshals Services, and other federal agencies. The systems are designed to withstand environmental, seismic, and blast loads. This courthouse has won several design awards and was the first new federal courthouse to earn a LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
