Roosevelt Collection is located in Chicago's South Loop, this 1.6 million square-foot, mixed-use development was constructed on the site of an abandoned rail yard. The complex is composed of 450,000 square feet of retail/cinema space, 342 loft condominium units, 50 retail and restaurant spaces, and a two-acre park. The building achieve LEED-NC certification, and features on of the first LEED certified movie theaters in the United States.
CDC provided consulting services during the Design Development and Construction Administration phases including review of design details, development of performance design criteria, shop drawing review, observations of mock-up testing, performance design criteria, shop drawing review, observations of mock-up testing, performance of field observations and water testing of curtain wall and metal panel systems.
