The Palmolive Building is a 37-story, Art Deco high-rise that has been converted for residential use by Developer Draper and Kramer, Inc. The first two floors house upscale office and retail space, while high-end condominiums make up the rest of the building.

Scope of Services

CDC performed an evaluation of exterior facade, prior to and following the year 2000 when the building was purchased by the Developer who was planning to convert the building from office use to condominiums. CDC provided ongoing exterior observations of facade conditions and preparation of contract documents detailing the necessary repair and restoration work. CDC also acted as the Project Architect for all phases of the exterior repair/restoration project, including repair design and engineering, construction documents, and ongoing construction observation during an approximate 6-year period of repair/restoration work.
