Project Description
This 14-story, 475,000 square-foot, Class A office building incorporates recycled materials, including wood flooring in the lobby, and the bowed glass facade allows plenty of sunlight into the building. In 2007, the USGBC awarded this building with a LEED Silver certification.
Scope of Services
CDC provided a full range of curtain wall consulting to the Architect on this project. The unique geometry required bent laminated insulating glass with high performance coatings. CDC developed custom curtain wall designs for five different system types. Performance was verified with full-scale prototypical mock-up testing. CDC also provided periodic site observation visits during installation to check conformance with approved documents and specification requirements.
