45 Province Street is a 31-story residential tower located in the heart of the Arts district in Boston. The building features unitized terra-cotta rainscreen panels and unitized aluminum curtain wall system for the bulk of the facade cladding. Other elements include foam core metal panels, architectural aluminum siding, and hand set granite.
CDC has provided consulting services, including schematic design through construction document phases, technical advisement during system selection, writing specifications, and developing details of the system for incorporation into Architectural Documents. CDC also participated in bid review, mock-up design and testing, shop drawing and structural calculation review, and provided site observation and observations of field testing for quality assurance on behalf of the Architect, Bruner/Cott Associates.
